Welcome to the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards 2025
Packaging News has launched the Women in Packaging Excellence Awards to recognise and honour the achievements of women in the packaging industry. These awards highlight the contributions of women across various sectors, job functions, and levels within the industry. They aim to promote equality and highlight the progress made in addressing challenges like the gender pay gap, career progression, and increasing women's representation in leadership roles.
The awards are open to women in any role in the UK's packaging supply chain, including design, manufacturing, engineering, research and development, supply chain, marketing, customer service, technology, sales, and human resources. Nominees may also work in roles supporting the industry, such as sustainability consulting, procurement, or project management.
The Women in Packaging Excellence Awards will be held as an awards dinner at Hilton Bankside, London on Thursday 10th July.

Nomination and Entry Process
The awards are now open for nominations and we invite everyone in the packaging industry to nominate a colleague or industry peer today! Nominations act as a referral to the awards - it's your opportunity to put forward a woman to recognise their extensive efforts, achievements and provide them with the opportunity to win an award!
A nomination is not an entry, once the nominations have closed, each nominee will be invited to submit a full entry into the category that suits them best according to the entry criteria. The submission is a written form. Entries will be open after nominations close, up until Friday 11th April.
